Patients often inquire about the “Botox Brow Lift. At Hunnicomb of Wellness & Beauty offer providers skilled in this technique, whereby the brow depressor muscles are relaxed, giving the brow about 5-7 mm of natural lifting from the unopposed pull of the brow elevator muscle.
Botox may also be used to treat muscular hyperactivity in the lower face and neck in select patients. It can, for example, be used to help soften lines around the mouth, turn the corners of the mouth up, and even diminish the appearance of neck bands.
For lines and wrinkles that are caused by volume loss rather than muscle activity, dermal fillers such as Juvéderm, Juvéderm Voluma, Restylane, Versa, Belotero, or Radiesse are recommended. Our injectors might suggest the use of both types of injectables in order to diminish different kinds of wrinkles.
